You could also use an Outlook auto-reply to inform your colleagues about the current state of bargaining at UQ and about ongoing industrial action.

I will reply to your email in due course. In the meantime, did you know that more than 70% of university staff are in insecure work? University staff are more likely to be employed on a casual basis than workers at Coles and Woolworths.

Members of the NTEU are campaigning as part of our enterprise bargaining for more secure work for all staff, ensuring that our highly qualified, dedicated staff can make more meaningful contributions to the future of higher education and outcomes for our students.

UQ management are yet to agree to our requests to deliver more secure work for more staff.
